Ideal Partner in The Turbulent World
Talking about ideal partner is closely linked with subjective feeling. It depends on perception which is determined by education background, age, culture and life experiences. Character and appearance can be used as major premise in establishing an ideal partner for us. I believe that character is more important than appearance. Character is associated with positive attitude which is decided by our religion, basic principle and environment influences in our life. It needs a long-time process in building character and keep it in consistenly in the turbulent world. Appearance is volatile which can be changed by money, skill and technology. We can change our body into stocky build or muscular body in directly. We can be slim with red-haired, sexy-dressed and expensive high heels by using technology. Conversely, character is not an overnight process. It requires eager will, commitment and action to build it.

Refering on proverb that action is power but integrity is more, I decide integrity as a paramount prerequisite to be my ideal partner. Integrity means harmonious relationship among mind, word and act. It may sound cliched, but if people have no integrity, they will prone to be hypocrite although they look pious and calm. Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, Muhammad Yunus and Soekarno are the best example people who have huge integrity and should become paragon in our life.
I convince that Action speaks louder than word so that my ideal partner must have action-oriented mindset which is shown by concrete measures in daily life and it is began with a little thing. It is trully our temple and reflect a real character of us. We do not need a snazzy conceptor which is endowed by greasy and vehemence talking without following with real action. Intrisically, People would see what we have been done and neglect with what we have been said.
Hard worker is my next classification in searching ideal partner. We are facing with extraordinary circumstances and must be reined by extraordinary effort. It stipulates that we must survive and strive in all kinds of condition which is accompanied by degradation process in many fields. Hard worker also means that my ideal partner must have indomitable will and believes when life tumbles, we can be confident that sun will rise again. Eventually, We can survive even in pouring rain and extreme storm by hard working. Thomas Alfa Edison and J.K Rowling are an example people who have indomitable will and never give up although they are afflicted by grief and despair.
Goal is indespensable in our life. If you do not have a goal, how do you know when you have arrived? Stephen Covey on his book “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” said that goal would assist us to identify what kinds of habits should be preserved to be a success person. Beside, If we have a goal, we can make a plan which become a stepping stone to personify our goal. In other mean, If we fail to plan, we plan to fail. I hope that my partner has a same goal with me so that we can work hand in hand encouraging and nurturing each other in the turbulent world.
I have no specific requirement in appearance. I do not care either my partner has a round face or thin face. It really does not matter if my partner has curly hair or straight hair. I can work with slim and thin as well as plump person. But It will be better if my ideal partner has a balance in mind, body and soul. The most important is my ideal partner must be healthy. How do we enjoy our life if we are sick? How do we spend our time with family if we stay in hospital? And how do we chase our goal if we often meet a doctor?.
